My name is Alexander Abrams. I am writing to you in so that you will go through the story of my life I have been living. A part of this life I live has made me institutionalised in mental health hospitals , namely child and adolescent children mental health hospital eist Linn county cork , university hospital Waterford department of psychiatry and rehabilitation in this Tus nua enniscorthy
From the age of seventeen I have been in these services. I am writing to you for the following reasons
I have had a numerous amounts of tribunals in the hospital and I have been to the district and the circuit court in regard in regard to appeal my case . I would like a extension of appeal to appeal my case to the high court on my tribunal for the reasons that I was unable to defend me case because they in the tribunal felt I was to unwell whereas I was highly on medication to proceed when I spoke they referred back to my solicitor and said he is here to do the overdosed talking for you. I would also like to use the human right act and say it was and is discrimination in order to put me on medication. And to detain me along with the following proceedings
1) deprived of freedom I was detained under the mental health act of the out dated actus rea 2001 forasmuch it should of been 2011 which when I asked to go home they said you cannot so they detained me under the act of the Garda but they said it’s the wrong on . It was outdated and then they applied the next formable application to detain me
I have been detained from the following dates between October 2013 until January 2014 in eist Linn from federal to the secondary school of Wexford C.B.S to Doctor McCarthy ballagh enniscorthy Wexford to doctor Efan ( unknown spelling in Gorey county Wexford
For near a month in January in the psychiatric unit in university hospital Waterford(UHW) a referral was made from child and adolescents to the (UHW) Since turned eighteen years old I was made go to the adult services.
Between September 2014c.bc.AD and April 2015c.bc.ad 8 months a referral was made by the Garda for me going to the Garda station in order to prove a theory to make peace and to signify that I wanted to know the law of a miscarriage , due to an overdoes age through medication when my ex was pregnant. They did not listen
Between September 2015c.bc.ad and may 2016c.bc.ad 9 months at UHW referral from the secondary school of Kilmucridge Wexford due to talking to the guidance councillor and vice principal and not going to school the next day the Garda dragged me out my house in handcuffs without explanation . I was then in rehabilitation after the hospital admition between these dates between November 2015c.bc.ad to march 2017c.bc.ad a referral from the garda from me going into the station of Waterford and I was treated so badly I pissed the bed

The doors are locked from 12o clock to stop us from smoking and having a ciggie and fresh air so we sleep at night if not they would lock the doors altogether and make us wait until the nurses is ready for themselves and for us to go outside with them to ensure our safety and that we do not escape
Whilst in sub acute I was speaking to Mrs glover and she moved me back to the acute ward for mentioning the end of the world which is in 2026 meaning we have time but god can do as he pleases I am trying to create heaven on earth wears I already brought heaven to earth. as the way paradise would be in peace and my dad came over to help make peace but as my dad and I walked to the consultant room glover said hi Alexs I said are you seeing me today my dad is here and she said another time. Not today” Alex this was breeching my right to life I was unable to leave the hospital with his supervision and a promise to return within a reasonable time
Under the care of a doctor if was a doctor because I know glover hasn’t a medical training and a proof of a medical number or certificate ,Michal I verbally abused my mam to the point she had a Tia mini stroke because Michael said I could go home anytime my mum said she wants me home a few month passed by and then the consultant and myself and my mam talked and said “I want him home ” Michael response was “he’s not ready” “under what obligation I would of liked to know” ?. that breached many of the human rights act such as liberty and security because I ran away and walked to new Ross in my pyjamas
We are limited on what we can drink what we can wear limited on when we can eat and limited to have a cup of coffee
I have been a detained again against my will for no unexplained reason such as it has never been answered properly in due course since I went to hell when I was seventeen I desire a way for peace and so it shall be this breached all my human right by detain me

So I’m using the solicitors disciplinary tribunal rules are made pursuant to section 16 of the solicitors (Amendment) act 1960 and with the concurrence of the president of the high court with effect from the 1st of January 2017
16 where the tribunal finds that there has been misconduct on part of the resonant solicitor and the tribunal has not made and does not intend to make an order under section 7 as provided for rule 17 the report of the high court shall include

Privacy we are separated as sex male and female in sleeping dormitories which is understandable but then we able to go into the ward to socialize with them in common areas
We are made wear pyjamas
The doctor writes down all the information my family and I speak about and does not tell me what they have wrote or how they are responding to what I am saying but just asking more questions I have no understanding of what it is they find mentally unwell and what’s wrong to say and if the freedom of speech act is implied
I often saw different doctors every couple of days sometimes only twice sometimes once a week and on weekends there are on call consultants on and senior house officers so you lack confidence in talking to each of them for the reason they are going to take it from the report rather than what I actually have to explain, There is often inadequate patient examination by clinical staff
I was never told a date on when I could leave or haw to leave. It was only because of the tribunal coming up I was told I can leave because if they detained me again the last time the next step would of been to the high court it was to be in the high court on the 28/3/this year through judge Alice Doyle and sheriff Kevin Cashman. I am asking to go to create the peace of the world because I have been to the district and circuit court of Waterford appealing me detention
I also believe there is a breach of patient client confidentiality I said in my tribunal December last year I asked them not to publish my detainment notice on the world wide web and they said we are.
For the time I was in university hospital Waterford there were months I was not allowed any visitors my mum would of often of come down to the hospital and was refused entry. Staff saying there was a flu outbreak and a hospital supposed to be germ free and clean was depriving me from my family and it did not help my mental health and made my paranoia worse and my emotional state to be very unstable . I had no communication with family or friends for up to three months and it had happened a lot of times while I’ve been in hospital where I was unable to have my mum come visit me for an issue with hospital

We are degraded in many ways in the state of Waterford hospital
No lazes or socks or pyjamas at times and pyjamas are lose and flimsy
The sheets of the bed are the towels to dry our selves
We are not allowed our phone in the acute and then after eleven o clock pm we are not allowed to ring anybody
I have been overdosed on medication so much I wet the bed and woke up in puddles of saliva , was unable to sleep ,unable to eat , unable to move ,and then I was told of I did not take the tablets I would be injected . I have nearly gone blind from been overdosed and I have been so weak I was handed medications and the nurse lifted my elbow up to raise my arm to my mouth . At times I could not speak and had to go to the district court and was unable to say anything other than my name I think the higher up she read my boats and she said ” is that actually his name ” in the science a biblical name would be more believable to believe I’m a descendent from God with what I have to prove this been pertly implied in this letter of address I was unable to speak so the order was revoked
Injections are the doctors and some nurses solution to treat us to prove they think they are above us and the law whereas they protect there own right to and for their job but not to the patient at hand who get pinned to the bed and thrown in scullions I have often refused my medication and been pinned to the bed and injected once , twice and then made take medication I have asked “is it not bodily integrity to inject a person without there prior consent ” I was then told to ” shut up !” I was then thinking out loud I said “I’m just saying ” and they grabbed me throwing me into seclusion and injecting me again with more medications I had to take
Seclusions are the way they would shut us up if we were singing or dancing and I have often spent up to 3 days in the padded room with a sandwich for lunch and dinner and no tea or coffee but more drugs
Between November November 2015 to March 2016 For going into Waterford hospital instead of been listened to me they detained me and I was treated so badly I pissed the bed
The doors are locked at twelve pm till six am for this stop us from getting fresh air and stop us from smoking cigarettes weed and cigars Then the staff nurses would sometimes lock the doors to event us from escaping
While in the sub acute I was moved back to the acute for mentioning the end of the world I got my dad to come over and I asked would glover would see me and my dad she said yes then as we walked to the office she looked at me and I said are you seeing me and my dad she said ”not today Alex ”
Under the care of Michael he had me on 16 milligrams of atavin 800 milligrams of clozapine and a intermuscular injection once a week and every time I asked to go home the doctor Michael said I could go home if my mam said I can he said that many a time I got verbally aggressive and often put in seclusion when my mam came down we sat together and my mam said ”I want him home ” he said he isn’t ready
We are limited on when we can eat there are only 3 meals a day one at 8 am breakfast 1pm lunch 5pm supper then tea and coffee at 8pm
We are often sedated to the point we can’t walk in a straight line
When I ran away I hurt my foot knee and they did a x-ray after three days and then I wasn’t told the results and still haven’t

I have had a dentist appointment in October last year and was told I couldn’t go I’d be moved to Central mental hospital dun drum

In eist Linn child and adolescents I was diagnosed with drug induced psychosis the in adult services I was paranoid then paranoid scitsofenia now it resistance scitsofenia then schizoaffective disorder now hypomania and adhd
Improper treatment
For the past six years I have held my ground and said that I have the same dates and thought of what has happened to me I do not need the medications I have been on for so long for I shouldn’t be lowered out of society I have never intend to hurt any one I sent a letter of apology to the Wexford Garda station and I have managed no to hurt my self the reason for this admission on the 3/6/2019 a jump in the new Ross river to have a swim on a hot day and I felt like having a swim I was picked up by the Garda to Wexford hospital then the Wexford Garda put me in a straight jacket hand cuffed me and brought me to hospital where I am now .
We were often made sleep on the floor on the mattress we are only allowed showers from 8am to 8pm
The huger at night is hard and knowing you can not have a cup of tea when you like makes my fluid levels low and dehydrated

I lack reasoning with the doctors I have been with in order to find the true idea for what was the main purpose I was there in the first place having him on a IM injection once a week with clozapine and Ativan he sleeps a lot dose not eat much and often talks about his religious beliefs to a member of staff and patients on the unit he vomits a lot after meals and during the day but we believe it’s because he smokes cigarette’s the official said why hasn’t he not been treated the response was we have been monitoring him and the official said he need a scope and it should have been done sooner the order was revoked because I was highly medicated and unable to speak the next day I was booked for a scope and the day after I went for a scope I was told I had gastroenteritis with very bad inflammatory on my stomach with ulcers and I had very bad constipation to this day trying to use the toilet makes blood appear on the tissue once every blood moon I feel that I might pass out at times from squeezing I had a doctor look at it he said peals I still don’t see any change there is a picture of my stomach in my medical notes which I am requesting for me to own.

The tribunal decision broke my right to privacy by posting it on the Internet that I’m detained in hospital what grounds did they have to break my Confidentially of medical details as so if how was it just to keep my privacy limited and restricted by legalisation in common good, public order and morality.
When people are in a psychiatric unit of care we have the right to fresh air, minimum three meals a day, education and mental hygiene and personal care.
Their are youth coming in without a leg to stand on by been medicated for what reason I seek to know and how have they ended up here to be told they have to stay against their will.
Fresh air is a big factor in all our lives I was held in Wexford general hospital in four walls injected every two minutes and twenty eight seconds till I woke up on the side of a desert explain your reason for this through my medical files I was deprived of clean water food and fresh air Nó shower and no change of clothes.
Classing me as unwell what do you say would encourage me to get well?
No matter how long in psychiatric care 2-3days meet endorsement for normality and everyday living how do you tend to do this?
It’s not acceptable to stay in bed all day not healthy for mental and physical well being especially missing meals and this is bad practice for when you go home and discharged because you feel it’s normal to stay in bed because you have been labelled with a diagnostic mental illness and learn not to do different.
